Dr. Nashalla Nyinda
Nashalla Gwyn Nyinda TMD, Menpa, MA Acu, LMT began studying Tibetan Medicine in 1999, earning an Interdisciplinary Studies BA from Naropa University in 2001. Encouraged by her Root Lama, Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, she pursued Tibetan medical studies in India at Chagpori’s Darjeeling Clinic for two years. Her Menpa (Doctor of Tibetan Medicine) degree was conferred by Qinghai Tibetan Medical College, Tibet (China) and The Shang Shung Institute of Tibetan Medicine in 2009. In 2021 she earned her Masters of Acupuncture in the Five Element lineage from the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture. Nashalla taught at Naropa University from 2010-2023, currently teaching worldwide. She founded The Sowa Birthing Method™ for women in late stages of pregnancy or postpartum. Currently, she’s clinical director at the Nyinda Clinic of Tibetan Medicine & Holistic Healing in Boulder, Colorado and president of Chagpori US., a support branch who’s non-profit mission is to help spread, preserve and promote the spiritual and healing aspects within the Sowa Rigpa, Traditional Tibetan Medical System.
