Arisika Razak

Arisika Razak is a Professor Emerita of Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Women’s Spirituality. She is the former Director of the Women’s Spirituality MA and PhD Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she also served as Director of Diversity. Arisika is an African-American healer, ritualist, and spiritual dancer, who practices an eclectic mix of Earth-based spiritual traditions. Currently a core teacher at the East Bay Meditation Center, she served as an inner-city nurse-midwife for more than 20 years.
