Marissa C. Knox, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Purdue University and teaches courses that offer mindfulness and compassion skills to help students cultivate healthy relationships and resilience. Marissa has also facilitated self-compassion programs for educators, healthcare professionals, therapists, and parents. She writes poetry and shares practices on her Substack, The Poppy Garden. In her teaching and writing, she invites you to nurture a deeper connection to the elements of nature, your whole self, and the miracle, mystery, and magic available in every moment.
