Our minds and bodies are naturally awake, whole, complete, healthy, and sacred. Yet in today’s speedy and chaotic world, many of us come to yoga, meditation, and other contemplative practices from feelings of stress, anxiety, heartbreak, despair, loneliness, and pure exhaustion. This is something many of us experience as the modern human condition. Yet within us, we have the capacity to heal, rejuvenate, and cultivate a greater sense of wellbeing in the midst of daily life.
We have our own indestructible source of resilience. Our path is one of taking the time and space we need when we feel depleted, to replenish, so that we can experience greater ease and feel more present for the joys and challenges in our lives.
On this retreat, we will replenish through yoga, contemplation, inquiry, sharing, and time spent in the mountain valley where Drala Mountain Center is nestled, so that we can return to our daily lives with a renewed sense of energy and wellbeing. This retreat is for everyone, some experience with yoga is recommended.

What type of yoga will we practice on this retreat?
We will practice Slow Flow Yoga and Restorative/Yin Yoga. Slow Flow will support you in building strength, and increasing circulation, mental clarity, flexibility, and balance. Restorative and Yin will help you to relax and open your body, mind, and heart more deeply through longer holds and supported postures.
When will our retreat start and end?
Our program will begin after dinner with orientation on Friday evening at 7pm or 7:30pm and it will end on Sunday at 12pm or 12:30pm depending on the season. Participants are welcome to stay for lunch and enjoy the land.
What to bring for the program?
Yoga mat (optional), journal or notepad, pen or pencil, walking shoes, water bottle, and a mug with a closed top for tea (optional).
