ONLINE: Transforming the Judgmental Mind
January 25, 2026
Buddhist Path, Meditation & Mindfulness, Online Programs
Program Start Date & Time: January 25th | 10:00 am
Program End Date & Time: January 25th | 5:00 pm
Judgments of a reactive and compulsive nature, both toward ourselves and toward others, can be quite strong in our lives. They can distort how we see ourselves and the world, create challenges in our relationships, and undermine our work. In this program, we will explore what judgments are and how to work with them, using mindfulness, heart-based practices, and inquiry, along with short talks and discussion. Our aim is to retain the useful discernments often found with judgments, while transforming their more harmful effects. We will also look at how societal judgments—especially those related to race, gender, sexual orientation, and other areas—become internalized. Participants will have the option to join regular follow-up sessions to continue and deepen their learning. All are welcome, including those without previous experience in meditation.
