Fleet Maull at Wisdom in Action 2015: A More Enlightened Way of Being Together
If you are reading this, you likely share this question with those of us who work as part of Shambhala Mountain Center, and the tens of thousands of people who make up our global audience:
How are we going to do this?
How can we live together, on this planet, in a way that is genuine, inspired, and sustainable?
Last summer, we hosted the first Annual Wisdom in Action conference, in which a couple hundred people came together to reflect on these essential questions, and offer the insights of their minds, hearts, and various spiritual traditions.
In the opening address, Acharya Fleet Maull presented the possibility of realizing the inherent goodness of society, and engaging in our worldly lives with this view as our basis, rather than falling into an extremely tempting (and easy) cynical frame of mind.
We hope you find this clip inspiring, challenging, and ultimately enjoyable.
